"En Plein Air: When Portable Paint Met Adventurous Artists" - Morning Session: Ages 4-6

Beck Building Lobby
From dancing ballerinas to scenes of everyday life, artists of the Impressionist movement infused sunlight into their paintings. At this workshop, families discover how artists such as Edgar Degas, Claude Monet, and Pierre-August Renoir used natural light in their art. After exploring the paintings, guests flex their own creativity en plein air (outdoors) using paints, brushes, canvas, and sunlight.
